CHILDRESS — Childress High School senior offensive lineman Ethan Ferguson signed his National Letter of Intent to play collegiate football at Hardin- Simmons University, located in Abilene, Friday, Feb. 23 at Childress High School.

AMARILLO — Childress’ Aiden Allen was recently named to Press Pass Sports’ Area Round Top Performers, announced Friday, Feb. 23. Allen, who lit up Littlefield for 32 points, but scored over half of the Bobcats’61-58 win over the Wildcats Friday, Feb. 23 in Floydada.

CHILDRESS — Competing in the Abilene Icebreaker Tournament Thursday, Feb. 22-Saturday, Feb. 24, the Childress Lady Cats downed Early and Eastland for a 2-3 tournament finish. Kicking off the tournament against Big Spring, the Lady Cats fell 6-1, despite collecting an impressive six hits.
