CHILDRESS — In only the second game of the 2022 season, the Childress Bobcats were left devastated in a 35-8 homecoming loss against the Breckenridge Buckaroos Friday night, Sept. 2.
Unable to comeback in a 28-point lead spearheaded by the Buckaroos, the Bobcats were left stifled on foot, making over half of their 247 total yards through the air, including Childress’ only touchdown of the night, which was on a 39-yard pass from quarterback Seth Taylor, who passed for 123 yards.
Dareon Mathis was the lead rusher for Childress, putting up 16 yards on 9 carries, while Isaiah Jalomo was the leading receiver, picking up 60 yards on four catches.
