Childress’ Ansley Parr was recently named to Press Pass Sports’ 15 Texas Panhandle Softball Players to Watch in 2025, announced Monday, Feb. 3. Parr, a sophomore pitcher and infielder for the Lady Cats, threw a total of 156 innings her freshman season, while stacking up 329 strikeouts and carrying an ERA of 1.70—statistics which earned her District 2-3A Defensive Most Valuable Player....
