CHILDRESS — Due to a suspected gas leak in an adjacent business within the shared building of the Childress VA Clinic, the Childress VA Clinic, as well as other businesses within the combined residence, were evacuated by the Childress Fire Department and Childress Police Department at approximately 10 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 25, according to the Amarillo VA Health Care System (AVAHCS).
