CHILDRESS — Junior Hicks, a junior at Childress High School, rounded out his powerlifting season at the Texas High School Powerlifting Association (THSPA) Division 3 State Championship Friday, March 24 at the Taylor County Expo Center in Abilene.
Placing 12th in weight class 132, Hicks totaled 990 pounds,squatting 350 pounds, benching 265 pounds and deadlifting 375 pounds.
