WELLINGTON – Area residents flocked to three-day 85th anniversary sale at Bartlett’s Lumber & Hardware Sept. 1, 2 and 3.
“We sold lots of merchandise during the 20% off Bucket Bonanza sale,” Store Manager Eli Jett said.
Patrons signed up for special drawings all three days of the sale and came out on Saturday, Sept. 3 for free hamburgers, hotdogs and soda from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Mark Huntress not only won the riding lawnmower but the Pit-Boss griddle as well in back-to-back drawings. Other winners included Doris Stallings, fire pit; Tom Lyle Huntress, smoker grill; and Marcy Sessions, barbecue propane grill.
Alfred Saldana won the $500 Bartlett gift card; Michael Breedlove won the $200 Bartlett gift card; and Mikki Lewis won the $100 Bartlett gift card. DeWalt tools, as well as other miscellaneous items, served as door prizes throughout the Saturday celebration with DJ music that began at 9 a.m.
