Duke of Wellington portrait makes Byers’ mural masterpiece

WELLINGTON – A Duke of Wellington oil painting functioned as the influence for mural artist Malcom Byers’ replica on the West Ave. building, just south of downtown Wellington. Byers commented that the Duke of Wellington became sort of a last-minute addition to the mural.
