WELLINGTON – Estimating the tallest part of the 915 West Ave. structure on the right side at 20-21 feet, well-known muralist Malcom Byers advised that he likely used around 200 cans of spray paint on the 115-foot-wide mural.

CHILDRESS — Childress County Heritage Museum will celebrate the birthday of their building — originally the Childress Post Office — during a 90th Birthday Bash from 4-7 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 27.
