CHILDRESS — The Childress District of the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) will offer free child car safety seat inspections during a Child Passenger and Car Seat Check-Up Event from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 27 at HTeaO, 1305 Ave. F NW, Childress.

Wellington Lions ramp projects impact local residents

WELLINGTON – Coordinated by Wellington Lion Vernita Randon and Amarillo Downtown Lion Henry Wykcoff, the Lion’s most-recent community service project involved constructing ramps at two Wellington locations on Saturday morning, Sept. 6 as part of The Texas Ramp Project – Panhandle Area (TRP).
