CHILDRESS — The Childress District of the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) will offer free child car safety seat inspections during a Child Passenger and Car Seat Check-Up Event from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 27 at HTeaO, 1305 Ave. F NW, Childress.

WELLINGTON – Coordinated by Wellington Lion Vernita Randon and Amarillo Downtown Lion Henry Wykcoff, the Lion’s most-recent community service project involved constructing ramps at two Wellington locations on Saturday morning, Sept. 6 as part of The Texas Ramp Project – Panhandle Area (TRP).

The rising cost of everything has finally hit our group hard. Without donations, Hall County Home Delivered Meals (HCHDM) may not be here this time next year. The cost of food has skyrocketed for us, too. We are funded by two organizations — both fund at about 80%.
