Charles Goodnight Frontier Regiment Sons of Confederate Veterans (SCV) #2280 hosted the Rocky Sprott Fifth Living History weekend, where over 650 students, teachers and visitors attended the Friday, Oct. 3 School Day events, including Clarendon, Hedley, Hollis, Okla., Lefors, Shamrock and Wellington schools. “Making history come alive is so important,” stressed organizer Darrell Colson, SCV #2280 1st Lt. Commander. “We hope that our Living History School Day will help inspire others to seek more knowledge.”
