Childress Farmers Market to host nighttime finale this Saturday

CHILDRESS — With the weather getting colder, the Childress Farmers Market is getting ready to shutter their booths. However, not without a grand finale.This Saturday, Nov. 15, the Childress Farmers Market will close the season with a night market, including local artisans and live music, from 6-9 p.
Set for 8 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 6 at the Bura Handley Community Center, Wellington Farmer’s Market is hosting a farmer’s market and vendor event. Holiday shoppers are invited to explore handmade and home-grown items, along with additional categories of gifts and treasurers. Interested in being a vendor for only $10? CHILDRESS — Tuesday, Nov. 4, a Citation departed for Houston; another Citation flew in on business; and a Cirrus Vision Jet, from San Antonio, stopped in for fuel. A Cirrus fueled up on its way from North Carolina to Arizona, and another one stopped for fuel on its way from Oklahoma to California.
