Wellington City Council awards hay bid

WELLINGTON – The Wellington City Council met in regular session at 6 p.m. Monday, Nov. 3 with City Manager Justin Mixon, Mayor Larry Adams and Councilmembers Jimmy Cantu Jr., Brent Martin, Eddie Langford and Brandon Ward present.

CHILDRESS — Tuesday, Dec. 2, a Cessna Citation, out of Tulsa, Okla., dropped off passengers; two Beechcraft King Airs, from Addison, also dropped off passengers; and a Cessna 172, from Slaton, practiced in the area.

WELLINGTON – A festive fundraiser for a worthy cause, supporters came out for the Hearts United Give Support (HUGS) 2025 Holiday Home Tour from 2-4 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 7. Tour destinations included the homes of Brooke Carter, Rex and Amy Henard and Mark and Debbie Huntress.
