FOOD BOXESAvailable the second Monday of each month, the next distribution of food boxes from the north drive through of the First Methodist Church, 901 Bowie St., will take place from 2-4 p.m. Monday, Jan. 12. Basic application can be completed from 9 a.m.

With the prizes provided by Collingsworth County Farm Bureau, the Wellington Volunteer Fire Department gun and thermal raffle will take place during the annual varmint hunt weigh-in at 2 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 11 at the fire department. Hearts United Give SupportThe nonprofit Hearts United Give Support (HUGS) organization not only assists with expenses associated with travel to and from cancer treatments and doctor’s appointments for its clients but also provides emotional and spiritual support.
