Wellington team, individuals garner championships at local Salt Fork SWCD contests

WELLINGTON – One local team and two individuals captured championship honors at the Wednesday, April 2 Salt Fork Soil and Water Conservation District (SWCD) #133 Greenbelt Invitational Land, Range, Plant Identification (ID) and Homesite Judging contests.
Childress County 4-Hers compete at the Rolling Plains District 3 Fashion Show Saturday, April 5 in Archer City. Taking a second-place team finish in Duds to Dazzle, Liesel Schaefer placed first in Junior Storyboard, Miranda Henry placed first in Intermediate Storyboard and third in Fashion Under $25 and Cambri Willis placed second in Dressy to Semi-Formal.
