SAN MARCOS – Placing in the top 7% of over 32,000 art entries statewide, Wellington High School (WHS) sophomore Elli Ouellette earned a prestigious Gold Seal for her outstanding artwork—recognized as one of the best in Texas.

On Thursday afternoon, April 24, Leo Club members, including Bailey Stegall, Christell Melendez, Ava Garcia, Rylyn Colson and Garrett Thomas, sorted and packaged 360 pairs of donated eyeglasses for shipment to Texas Lions Eyeglass Recycling Center in Midland.
