MEMPHIS — Rain didn’t dampen the mood at the 69th Annual Memphis Lions Club Park Opener Friday, May 9 at Memphis City Park.In fact, despite the weather, dozens lined up at 6 p.m. for barbecue hamburgers, including baked beans and iced tea—all prepared and served by the Memphis Lions Club.

WELLINGTON – While anticipation mounted for family and friends, 41 Wellington Elementary School (WES) kindergarten students crossed the expansive gymnasium, stopping at center stage, to accept graduation diplomas at 9:30 a.m. Friday, May 9 at the Wellington High School (WHS) gymnasium.
