WELLINGTON – The 22nd Annual Fourth of July is slated for 7:30 p.m. Thursday, July 4-Saturday, July 6 at the Wellington Fairgrounds. Slack will take place at 6 p.m. Wednesday, July 2.

CHILDRESS — Tuesday, June 3, a Canadair Challenger brought passengers in from Dallas and fueled up before remaining overnight. A Beechcraft King Air also remained overnight after dropping off passengers from Dallas, and two Bell 407 medevac helicopters dropped in for fuel.
