WELLINGTON – The county judge race appeared to drive Collingsworth County voters to the General Election polls with a 47% voter turnout. Scot Martindale, running as a write-in candidate for county judge, garnered 449 votes to top incumbent John James, who received 440 votes.
In the early voting tally, Martindale led with 281 votes to James’ 219 votes.
