  • The City of Childress reminds the public that swimming or jumping in Fair Park Lake — or any body of water on city property — is prohibited. The city issued the reminder Friday, June 13, after it was reported that several children were seen swimming in Fair Park Lake, as well as jumping off Timber Bridge.
