A well-known Dallas director, Israel Luna is excited to premier his movie, “La Chancla Del Diablo,” at the Wellington Ritz Theatre. Produced by Joseph Herrera, Rosa, a single mother of two boys, buys a pair of flipflops from the local dollar store, unaware that it has been possessed by the soul of an evil bruja (witch) who has set her eyes on Rosa’s youngest son.
Following the Wellington Ritz Theatre’s regular scheduled 7:30 p.m. movie, Israel Luna’s latest thriller, “La Chancla Del Diablo,” will be featured at 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday, Jan. 19 and 20. Rated PG-13 for mild language, violence and gore, admission is free. Luna and his cast will greet movie-goers following each performance.
