CHILDRESS — June Harrison will be crowned the 2023 Old Settlers Queen at 10 a.m. today, Friday, April 21 at the Childress County Heritage Museum.
“I’m so honored to be queen,” Harrison said. “I feel so humble. I feel like I really don’t deserve it. I didn’t even know that anyone knew I existed. I’m just a little, 98-yearold woman, but I’m so honored.”
