Now a popular local venue for youth shooting sports, WGC is also receiving a NRA Foundation grant and plans to add a second trap field and upgrade its rifle/pistol range in the near future. Wellington Gun Club’s latest upgrade to its 40-acre shooting range is a brand-new clubhouse, located just one mile west of Wellington, Texas. The building complements a pair of trap ranges, a skeet field and a rifle/pistol range. While the clubhouse was funded by a private donation, a grant from the NRA Foundation will support upcoming improvements.
With six certified coaches on hand, Collingsworth County 4 H members now train locally at the Wellington Gun Club’s upgraded facility.
