CHILDRESS — Tuesday, Oct. 10, a Piper Comanche, from Denver City, practiced in the area, and a Cessna 150 stayed overnight. Wednesday, Oct. 11, the 150 fueled up and departed, and an Aeronca Champ stopped for fuel.

Childress County Heritage Museum welcomes Niki Seal as new director

CHILDRESS — The Childress County Heritage Museum recently welcomed Niki Seal as museum director, a title which she has held for roughly a month. “When I learned how big Childress was and all the history behind our city, I fell in love with the museum,” Seal said.

CHILDRESS — “The Red River Sun,” formerly located at 226 N. Main St., recently relocated to Hotel Childress, 220 Ave. B NW, Suite C. “We’re super excited to call Hotel Childress our new home,” Managing Editor Elizabeth Tanner said.

We Can Care provides clients care with multi-faceted program

CHILDRESS — The treatment plan for cancer recovery often includes out-oftown trips, an additional concern for numerous residents, to find a driver and manage the cost.

Modern Home Club hosts first meeting following summer break

CHILDRESS — Modern Home Club held their first meeting following summer break Thursday, Sept. 21 at the Childress County Heritage Museum. Soundra Christy called the meeting to order and passed out the new member directory to those present. Club officers will remain the same.
