CHRISTMAS IN THE PARK FUNDRAISER The Christmas In The Park 25th Annual Fundraiser Dinner will be held at 6 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 2 at Fair Park City Auditorium. An auction will follow the dinner, which will be provided by Bertie Fannie.
Childress County Heritage Museum will host an Evening with Santa at 6 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 17 at the Childress County Heritage Museum. Crafts, apple cider and pictures with Santa will be available. CHILDRESS — Wednesday, Nov. 22, a local Beechcraft King Air departed, a Piper Cherokee stopped for fuel on its way from Waco to Amarillo and a Cessna Citation, from Houston, fueled up and dropped off a passenger.

FARMER’S MARKET The Childress 1st and 3rd Farmers’ Market takes place the first and third Saturday of each month.An evening farmer’s market will be held beginning at 6 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 11. Part of the Fall Season Finale, the market will be accompanied by food, music and fun for all.

CHILDRESS — Tuesday, Oct. 24, two Beechcraft King Airs brought passengers in from Dallas for business. Thursday,Oct.26,an Embraer Legacy dropped off passengers from Arkansas and stayed overnight, and a Bell 407 helicopter dropped in for fuel on its way from Houston to Amarillo.
