CHILDRESS — Thursday, Aug. 28, a Cessna 182 came in for fuel on its way out of Colorado.Friday, Aug. 29, a Cirrus, from Lubbock, and another, from Amarillo, practiced in the area, and a local Beechcraft King Air flew.
Sponsored by IREN, Childress County 4-H enrollment will be free through Tuesday, Sept. 9. Childress County 4-H is open to children ages 5-18 or grades kindergarten-12th. After Tuesday, Sept. 9, enrollment fees will be $25 for third through 12th-grade members and $10 for kindergarten through second-grade members.
