Bobcats pick up first district win over Tulia

CHILDRESS — Rebounding from a tough loss to archrival Canadian last week, the Childress Bobcats picked up their first district win of the season, stinging the Tulia Hornets in a 56-6 home win.

Oct. 20 The varsity Childress Bobcat football team plays the Spearman Lynx at 7 p.m. in Spearman. Oct. 21 The junior varsity and varsity Childress Lady Cat volleyball teams play the Littlefield Lady Wildcats in Littlefield. Junior varsity plays at 11 a.m., followed by varsity at noon. Oct.

Bobcats thump Jackrabbits in homecoming win

CHILDRESS — Following two consecutive losses, the Childress Bobcats finally snapped the streak, thumping the Bowie Jackrabbits in a 41-13 homecoming win Friday night, Sept. 22 at Fair Park Stadium.

Childress, Wellington runners compete in Lubbock ISD Invitational

LUBBOCK — Childress and Wellington cross country athletes recently competed in the Lubbock Independent School District (ISD) Invitational Saturday, Sept. 23 at Mae Simmons Park in Lubbock,where the Lady Rockets took home a seventh-place team finish,thanks to lone medalist Addy Mock.
