CHILDRESS — Leading the Childress Lady Cats past Dalhart in a 14-0 blank Friday, April 4, Ansley Parr drove in four runs on three hits, hitting a home run in the fourth inning for two runs, singling in the second inning for one run and singling in the fifth inning for one run.

The varsity Childress Lady Cat softball team plays River Road at 4:30 p.m. in Childress. The junior varsity and varsity Childress Bobcat baseball teams play Dalhart in Dalhart. Varsity plays at 4:30 p.m., followed by junior varsity.

CHILDRESS — Following the recent Bowie Tournament, the Childress Bobcats opened district play against the Bushland Falcons Tuesday, March 11 in Bushland.Despite collected 10 hits to Bushland’s eight, the Bobcats fell short, 12-5.
