FRITCH — The Memphis Cyclones were shutout Friday, Sept. 17 as the Sanford-Fritch Eagles snagged their first win of the season in a 35-0 final.
Taking a 14-0 lead at halftime, Sanford-Fritch continued to dominate the Cyclones throughout the third and fourth quarter, racking up an additional 21 points and keeping the Cyclones to 61 total yards, all of which were on the ground with Edgar Villa going zero-for-six on passes.
Jayce Chavera racked up most of the Cyclones’ yardage, putting in 54 rushing yards followed by Cutter O’Neal with 15.
