West picks up SOS organic T-shirt order

SAMNORWOOD — In an effort to use all Texas made products for his campaign, Col. Allen West and staff visited Gary Oldham’s SOS From Texas T-shirt shop last Friday, Aug. 27.

“Even though our prices are much higher than an import, West chose our T-shirts,” said Oldham.

West, a former Texas Republican Party Chairman, is challenging Gov. Greg Abbott in the 2022 primary election. He believes in his campaign platforms, “Texas First” and “Defending the Texas Republic,” are evident in where he is spending his campaign funds.

West resides in Garland. Born and raised in Atlanta, Ga., he represented Florida’s 22nd congressional district in the U.S. House of Representatives (2011 – 2013) and served as the Republican Party of Texas chairman (2020 – 2021).
