CHILDRESS — Following the June 12 cancellation of Childress County Heritage Museum’s Comanche Day, Comanche Nation’s Martin Flores is back and ready to narrate the history of the “Lords of the Plains.”

Scheduled for 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 28 at the Childress County Heritage Museum, 210 W. 3rd St.  NW, Flores will share the story of Comanche Nation, including the group’s nomadic migration across the Plains and into Southwest Oklahoma, through interactive narratives and games suitable for ages seven and up.
