WELLINGTON — The Wellington Ex-Student Association is excited to present the 69th annual reunion on Saturday, Aug. 7. Location change is the Wellington Elementary Cafeteria in the 1500 block of Childress St.

“We hope everyone wants to get out this year as we work to carry on the reunion tradition,” said Eddie Langford, Association board member. “We encourage ex-students to visit Wellington for not only the reunion but for the Wild & Free on 83 events and the Ritz concerts on Saturday and Sunday evening too.”

For 2019, the Wellington Ex-Student Association combined its 68th annual reunion with Skyrocket homecoming to increase attendance. For 2021, the Association voted to go back to the traditional August date but with a change in location. Because of the Bura Handley Community Building Senior Citizen’s Center plans, the reunion activities will take place at the elementary cafeteria.
