MEMPHIS – Twenty-eight Memphis High School seniors graduated Friday, May 28, walking the stage at First Baptist Church to receive their diplomas.
Kicking off the commencement ceremony with the invocation was Jax Ferrel followed by Chloe Wilks, who led the Pledge of Allegiance.
Salutatory addresses were given by Alfonso Garcia-Pineda and Danielle Middleton, both of which graduated with a 5.05 Grade Point Average (GPA). The valedictory address was given by Kishan Bhakta, who graduated with a 5.06 GPA.
Following, seniors received their diplomas from Memphis Independent School District (ISD) Board President Sarah Cook. Genaro Luna led the class in tassel-turning.
