Elizabeth Joyce Foster passed away on Saturday, May 1 at the age of 63 in Austin, Texas.
Elizabeth was born on April 16, 1958 in Victoria, Texas, the daughter of Lydia Mae Foster (Thurmond) and Richard Duane Foster, of Childress, Texas. Lydia Foster passed away in Sacramento, Calif. in 2006 and Richard Foster passed away in Childress in 2011.
Memorial services are to be held at the Trinity Worship Center in Childress on Friday, June 4, 2021 beginning at 1 p.m. followed by lunch. Pastor Ronnie Shoffner will lead the services where we celebrate the good times and say goodbye to Liz.
Liz grew up in Colorado Springs and Englewood, Colo. where she went to Cherry Creek High School. Liz largely lived in Colorado and partially in Texas. She recently moved to Austin to be near Amanda and Elydia.
Elizabeth’s two sons, Travis “T.J.” Johnson, Jr., who was born in Childress and passed away in 2007, and Thomas Grant Hoselton, who passed away in 2009, are buried near her in Childress.
She is survived by her daughter, Amanda Ike and her partner, Maxarie Martin, her granddaughter, Elydia Chambers, her brother, Stephen Lee Foster and his wife, Tebbie, her older brother, Billy Foster and his family and best friend and cousin, Mark Foster.
