WELLINGTON – Boss Lion Rex Henard welcomed three new members, Brian and Lori Moore and Alice Pastor, to the April 5 meeting of the Wellington Lions Club.

Lion Gene Pena led the pledge to the U.S. flag and Lion Fraya Hammons led the pledge to the Texas flag. Lion Paul Schaub offered the invocation.

Schaub led in singing happy birthday to Alice Pastor and Garrett Thomas, who are celebrating April birthdays, and to Amy Henard and Sweetheart Dani Ponder, who had March birthdays.

Lions Brian and Lori Moore have their five-year anniversary the month of April, and Neal and Bev Odom their 35th wedding anniversary.

Members sang “In the Good Old Summertime” accompanied by pianist Nancy Harris and directed by Schaub.
