Memphis Cyclone Jax Ferrel, far right, took third in the 198-weight class at the Texas High School Powerlifting Association Regional Meet at Sundown High School on March 11 with a total of 1,165 pounds split between a 405-pound squat, 305-pound bench press and 455-pound deadlift. Left, David Espinoza finished ninth in weight class 220 with a total of 975 pounds summed up by a 385-pound squat, 205-pound bench press and 385-pound deadlift. Other competitors included Jase Middleton, Lee Savage and Charlie Sepeda.
