Sole Bobcat competitor Jimmy Ayala, pictured above, took third in the super heavy weight class at the Texas High School Powerlifting Association Regional Meet at Sundown High School on Saturday, March 13. Completing his season, Ayala lifted 1,315 total pounds with a 580-pound squat, 280-pound bench press and 455-pound deadlift.
