CHILDRESS – More than 70 veterans received their first COVID-19 vaccines at the Childress Elks Lodge 1113 last week.
“As a Lodge, we were blessed to provide space for veterans’ COVID-19 vaccinations,” Elks Lodge 1113 member Susan Leary said.
The Amarillo VA Health Care System hosted the Moderna COVID-19 vaccination clinic from 1 to 3 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 24. It was for Childress-area veterans enrolled in the VA Health Care System.
Veterans will receive their second dose of vaccinations on Wednesday, March 24.
