SLATON – The Childress Lady Cats will advance to the regional quarterfinals after sweeping the Lamesa Lady Tornadoes, 85-34, for the area championship title Monday, Feb. 22.

Putting in a game-best of 21 points and leading the Lady Cats to victory was senior Grace Foster.

The Childress Lady Cats (12-9) challenged the Brownfield Lady Cubs Thursday, Feb. 25 in the regional quarterfinals. Results were not available at press time.
