WELLINGTON — With wins over the Mustangs on Feb. 5 and the Cyclones on Feb. 9, the Skyrockets secured the number four position in District 2-2A to advance to the UIL playoffs.
Wellington will play Gruver at a time and place to be determined.
The Rockets played the Wheeler Mustangs, winning by a final score of 50-37.
Bryant Tarver was the high point scorer with 14 points followed by Jayden Castillo with 11 points, Carson Tarver with 10, Jordan Nation and Kayden Valles with five points each, Braylon Tarver with three and Mason Folk with two points.

The Rockets played the Cyclones on Feb. 9, winning a close contest by a final score of 46-44.
- Tarver once again was the high point scorer with 12 points followed by Valles with 11 points, Nation with 10, Castillo with seven and C. Tarver with six points.
High point scorers for Memphis included A. Garcia with 13 points, G. Luna with nine, V. Acevado with eight, C. Morris with seven, M. Flores with five and E. Villa with two points.
