MEMPHIS – Less than 24 hours after the online registration form was posted, all 200 spots for the free Moderna vaccination clinic hosted by the Texas Department of State Health Services were filled.
Organized by County Judge Ray Powell, First Baptist Church Pastor Daniel Downey, Emergency Management Coordinator James Edwards and Donnie Carroll, qualifying Hall County residents were able to receive the first dose of the Moderna vaccine free of charge Saturday, Feb. 6.
For those that have not yet received a vaccination, Public Health Region 1 Deputy Regional Director Kelly Northcott suggests reaching out to Childress Regional Medical Center at 940-937-6371, Fox Rural Health Clinic at 940-937-3636, United Pharmacy 918 at 940-937-8242 or Walmart Pharmacy 900 at 940-937-6166.
