CHILDRESS – The Childress County Livestock Show committee would like to recognize the sponsors who made the show possible.
“Thank you and thank you again,” Childress County Livestock Show committee president Matt Stone said.
“The support they showed our kids this year was amazing, especially with the challenges our community has faced the last 10 months.”
The Grand Champion sponsors were Boedeker Flying Service, Capital Farm Credit, Farmer’s Coop Gin, Fowler Insurance, Kevin Huddleston Sales, South Plains Electric Cooperative, Vest Ranch and Wellington State Bank.
Division sponsors consisted of First Bank & Trust, Cross Texas Transmission, Hall/Childress Soil Water Conservation District, JT’s Drive-In, Lott True Value/Ballyhoo and Villyards.
Buckle sponsors were Bradley 3 Ranch, Cherry Electric, Got Ink!, Hall/Childress Soil Water Conservation District, Hurst Farm (Swine & Lamb), Paradise Broadcasting and Ware Chevrolet.

“We want to thank our sponsors for their support,” said Lori Rabe, who is secretary of the Childress County Livestock Show committee. “We had a successful show.”
Other supporters included Donna Statham, Childress County Commissioners, Childress Glass and Robby Jones, Falon Stone, Sandy Koepke, Stephen Rothwell, STS Ranchwear and United Supermarkets.
“I can’t thank Donna Statham enough for taking all the pictures,” Rabe said. “Sandy Koepke baked homemade cinnamon rolls and is always willing to help with the food side.”
Jones, owner of Childress Glass, made the banners, Rothwell was the auctioneer and Falon Stone organized the concession stand, Rabe said. The Childress County Commissioners donated money, United Supermarkets donated a gift card for the raffle and STS Ranchwear donated a bag to the auction.
The Childress County Livestock Show committee would also like to thank everyone who bought raffle tickets.
“The sponsors are the lifeline to our county show,” Matt Stone said. “Our show isn’t possible without their support.”
