Christmas in the Park dedicates “Charlene’s Tree” to the late Charlene Smith, who was active with the Christmas in the Park committee from its inception in 1996 until her passing earlier this year. The family of the late David Galligan started the memorial in her name, and the community honored Smith’s legacy with donations that purchased the tree. Her daughter Amber Green, left, stands in the front of the tree with her daughter Ayelan, husband Eric, son Easton and daughter Auburn. Courtesy Photo
