Pauline Boyles Bias, 93 of Wellington, went to be with the Lord on December 24, 2020 in Decatur, Texas.
Graveside services took place at 2 p.m. Monday, December 28 at North Fairview Cemetery in Wellington with Rev. Joe Lee, pastor of the First Baptist Church officiating. Arrangements were by Adams Funeral Home of Wellington.
Pauline was born on April 10, 1927, to Frank and Lorena Boyles in Wellington.
She lived in the Collingsworth County area most of her life. She graduated from Quail High School in 1944. She retired from working at Home Delivered Meals in Wellington at the age of 80.
She loved to go play cards with her friends at the church. Passionate about her quilting and needle work, Pauline had made her son a fireman’s quilt and won first place at the community quilt show with it.
Pauline served as a member of the First Baptist Church and WMU.
She spent the last three years living in Decatur to be closer to her grandchildren whom she loved.
Pauline was preceded in death by her parents, her son William “Rudy” Bias, a grandson Lance Bias and her sister Alline Bird.
Left behind to cherish her memory are her granddaughters Felicia Scott and husband Grady and Amber Reardon, and a grandson Christopher Bias, all of Decatur; five great grandchildren, Marissia, Nickolas, Kelli, Noah and Zephanie; a great-great granddaughter Bri Ann; her sister Beth Carr of Tyler; a brother Richard Boyles and wife Jeri of Lubbock; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins and a host of friends.
The family suggests that memorials be made to Home Delivered Meals, 1001 Amarillo St., Wellington, TX 79095.
