WELLINGTON — For a second year in a row, the Collingsworth County Chamber of Commerce sponsored the Christmas trees surrounding the perimeter of the courthouse square.
Twenty-four businesses, organizations and individuals have draped festive decorations on trees to celebrate the Christmas season.
“We just want to bring some cheer to our little town and make it really special at Christmas time,” said Karen Caldwell, Chamber vice president. “We invite you to get out during the day and get a close-up look at the trees, then circle back around after dark to see the pretty lights.”
The rotating star still graces the top of the courthouse.
“It’s worth a special trip to see the light displays the businesses have around the courthouse too,” said Caldwell.
