WELLINGTON — Despite the coronavirus pandemic lurching into the Christmas season, Wellington Care Center plans to provide its traditional Christmas for the residents.
According to Dorothy Massey, long-term activity director, the holiday party will take place at 2 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 21.
“We are still not accepting visitors, so we will take photos and post them on our Facebook,” she said. “Santa and Mrs. Claus will stop by for a virtual window visit so the residents can see them.”
The staff is currently taking donations for its Empty Stocking Fund to ensure all residents are blessed this Christmas. To adopt a resident, please contact Amy Dickerson, administrator; Kimberly Holland, business office/human relations manager; Julie Stepien, director of nursing; or April Lindsey, assistant director of nursing, by calling 806-447-2513.
Donations can be mailed to 1506 Childress St, Wellington, TX 79095.
