MEMPHIS – Hall County and District Clerk Olivia Dunn said their results are unofficial until Monday, Nov. 16 when the votes will be canvassed.
Dunn released these unofficial results. In the Memphis Mayor race, incumbent Joe Davis received 490 votes compared to Tyson Pate’s 231 votes. In the City Council, Ward 1 race, incumbent Woody Richardson received 101 votes compared to Daena Santos’ 80 votes. Randy Phillips received 168 votes for City Council, Ward 2, Jim Stewart received 203 votes for City Council, Ward 3 and Ray Dickson received 89 votes for City Council, Ward 4.
Proposition 1, which is the legal sale of all alcoholic beverages including mixed beverages, received 501 votes for it and 234 votes against it. Proposition 2, which is changing the designation of the type of economic development sales tax Memphis collects from a Type A to a Type B, received 479 votes for it and 241 votes against it.
