WELLINGTON — In the Oct. 5 meeting, the Wellington City Council approved Resolution 2020-06 authorizing Mayor J.D. Hamby and City Manager Jon Sessions to obtain a Stand By Letter of Credit in the amount of $215,701.82, and set up a Stand By Trust Fund to meet financial assurance requirements for Subtitle D concerning the landfill.
Those present for the regular meeting were Sessions, Mayor Pro-tem Brent Martin, Councilmen Jimmy Cantu, Jr., Kenneth Warren and Brandon Ward and City Secretary Sherrie Dunlap. Absent were Mayor J.D. Hamby and Councilman Larry Adams.
The council approved the minutes and bills as presented. City Manager Sessions reviewed the Financial Statement with the council.
The council approved the Quarterly Investment Report ending Sept. 30.
