Carolyn Moseley, 80 of Wellington, passed away on Tuesday, October 27, 2020.
A private family service will be held at this time with a memorial service to follow at a later date.
Born June 23, 1940 in Wellington to Gabe and Alene Jackson Wright, Carolyn married Billy Moseley on April 24, 1960 in Wellington. He preceded her in death in 1989.
Carolyn graduated from Quail High School in 1958 and attended Clarendon College. She worked at the Collingsworth County Tax Assessors office and the Wellington Community Action Center. Most of her time she spent serving as a mother and homemaker.
She was a member of the Church of Christ where she taught children’s bible classes for many years.
Carolyn was also preceded in death by her parents, a brother-in-law C. J. Johnston and her niece Noel Johnson.
She is survived by her son Barry Moseley and his wife Liz of San Antonio; her daughter Cristy Moseley of Lubbock; three grandchildren, Meagan, Madisen and Macie Moseley, all of San Antonio; sister Agatha Johnson and her husband Dean of Tulia; two sisters-in-law, Dianne Moseley of Lubbock and Betty Johnston of Pampa; three nieces, Leslie Henderson and her husband Paul of Plainview, Vicci Johnston of Amarillo and Kim Havard and her husband Rick of Prosper; and her nephew Nick Johnson and his wife Lisa of Canyon.
The family suggests that memorials be made to Westview Boys Home.
