WELLINGTON — On 7/1/20 at 22:06 WVFD responded to a grass fire due to fireworks at the cemetery on FM 338 with two units and eight firemen.
On 7/3/20 at 22:20 WVFD responded to a grass fire due to fireworks at 212 West 5th St. with three units and 10 firemen.
On 7/4/20 WVFD responded to a grass fire as mutual aide in Oklahoma with four units and eight firemen.
On 7/5/20 at 12:37 WVFD responded to a dumpster fire due to fireworks at 1100 Arlington St. with one unit and six firemen.
On 7/7/20 at 17:35 WVFD responded to a grass/trash fire due to trash falling out of the trash pit onto the grass with two units and five firemen.
On 7/8/20 at 22:12 WVFD responded to a grass fire possibly due to fireworks with two units and eight firemen.
On 7/9/20 at 20:45 WVFD responded to a grass fire at Brister Ranch due to a lightning strike with five units and 11 firemen.
On 7/10/20 at 17:30 WVFD responded to a grass fire at Brister Ranch due to reigniting with four units and nine firemen.
On 7/11/20 at 00:28 WVFD responded as mutual aide to the McLean Hwy with three units and eight firemen.
On 7/12/20 at 17:12 WVFD responded to a fire at 1205 West Ave. due to a tree rubbing against a service power line and sparking with one unit and eight firemen.
On 7/17/20 at 21:56 WVFD responded to a spontaneous combustion hay fire with three units and 10 firemen.
On 7/18/20 WVFD responded to a grass fire at First Priority Irrigation where a burn pit caught a waterway on fire with one unit and three firemen.
On 7/23/20 WVFD responded to a grass fire due to a lightning strike in Loco with three units and 10 firemen.
On 7/23/20 WVFD responded to a grass fire due to a lightning strike four miles north on Hwy 83 with three units and nine firemen.
