Teresa Jones Maas, 61 of Amarillo, went to be with her Lord on July 28, 2020.
Rosary took place at 6 p.m., Thursday, July 30 at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church in Amarillo. Funeral mass was celebrated at 2 p.m., Friday, July 31 at the church. Interment followed in Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements were by Schooler Funeral Home.
Teresa was born June 23, 1959 in Wellington to Frank and Sharon Jones. She was a lifelong resident of Amarillo where she called “Home.”
She was a devoted Christian, a loving, caring, giving wife, mother and grandmother “Oney.”
Teresa anchored her life in Christian love for her family, always thinking of others first and giving everything she had to those closest to her.
She is survived by her husband of 37 years, Skipp Maas of Amarillo; daughter Megan Bronniman and husband Wencer of Claude; son Mason Maas and wife Hayden of Amarillo; grandchildren Wrenleigh Bronniman, Wheeler Bronniman and Luke Maas; parents Frank and Sharon Jones of Wellington sisters Sherri Jones Lawless and husband Don of Grand Rapids, Mich. and Elizabeth Jones McLarty and husband Richard of Katy; brother Tim Jones of Boerne; nephew Patrick Lawless; and niece Trilby Lawless.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to the American Cancer Society in honor of Teresa.
